As a result of the recent increase in COVID cases in Jackson Co. and the impact it is having on our students and staff, Vandercook Lake Public Schools will be fully remote the week of April 5-9. Specific school, meal and athletics information will be relayed in the near future.

Vandy Families: We have unclaimed food boxes for those in need. Boxes will be handed out on a first-come, first-served basis, starting at 9am. Boxes can be picked up at our Central Office which is located at the MS/HS campus, park in the circle. One box per family, please.
Jayhawk Nation, we need to borrow a VLHS yearbook that has the Senior Classes for 1982 and 1999 in them. We need to scan the books for a project. If you have the '82 or '99 edition and would be willing to lend it to the district, please email scott.leach@vandyschools.org

So far, the students are having a blast with March is Reading Month!! In Mrs. Johnson's room, the students are listening to the story "Charlotte's Web"! Here is a peek into "Reading is Sweet" (eating Smarties while reading) day and "Reading is Lit" (using mini flashlights) day!
Crazy hair for our "Crazy Hair Day" book this week! Mrs. Johnson and Mrs. Flippin sure know how to get some laughs and make reading fun!
