Our bus riders practiced a safe front door evacuation this morning. The transportation department will also practice rear door and split door evacuations in upcoming months.

It will be open during the lunch hours for students to shop during their lunch break, AND there will be a family night Thursday, Dec 5 before the band concert from 5:30 to 7:00 pm. Today, all the kids from young 5's to 2nd grade did a Townsend Thanksgivng Day Parade! The students learned all about how the Macy's balloons are made and then created their very own! It was such a fun and exciting day!

The holiday season is upon us. What better way to celebrate with family and frriends that at the 1st annual Vandercook Lake Community Christmas Parade starting at 6:00pm .Our marching band and cheer will be participating in the event. The theme this year is “Christmas Candyland. Santa Claus will also be present to welcome our community at the Fire Barn for visits and hot Coco with the kiddos. Prior to the parade, food truck vendors will be in the parking lot in front of Lions Clubhouse/Fire Barn.
