Good morning, Bus 28 for MS/HS students is running late today. We do have a bus on it's way to pick up students who normally ride that bus. Please look for Bus 27.
Voting 'Yes' on the November Non-homestead renewal proposal will ensure that our district receives the full per-pupil amount from the State. This DOES NOT impact taxes on a homeowner's primary residence. https://www.vandyschools.org/article/313635?org=vandercook-lake

More 2nd graders having fun with pumpkins! After reading "How Many Seeds are in a Pumpkin?", we decided to test what we learned from the book and see how many seeds were in different sized pumpkins. We also had to use our math skills by putting the seeds in groups of 5s or 10s.

Today is 2nd grade, we finished our story titled "How Many Seeds in a Pumpkin?" by Margaret McNamara! We predicted and actually counted how many seeds were in our 4 pumpkins! What a blast!!

HUGE congratulations to our winners for our Count Day raffle!! We have 4 very excited kids!

Good luck Varisty Volleyball & Varsity Football as they are on the road this weekend!
Volleyball is at Lenawee Christian
Football is at St. Joseph Michigan Lutheran at the Kohn Sports Complex
Mrs.Siegrist and her fourth grade students want to thank VCL juniors and fire cadets Brandy Pickell, Triston Cavender, and Connor Seal for an amazing presentation filled with life saving information. Students learned about a possible career as firefighters and watched as the high schoolers showed them how to don and doff their equipment.

To receive full funding from the State, every school district must periodically ask their voters to restore their Non-homestead millage. This is not a tax increase and is only applied to non-homesteaded properties. https://www.vandyschools.org/article/313635?org=vandercook-lake

Jayhawks drop the second set and come back to win the third set and the match v Bath. Division 4 power Lenawee Christian is up next.

Varsity volleyball takes the first set v Bath.
