The Concert Winds consists our eighth grade band students.  This is a performance and competition band.  The Concert Winds perform a minimum of 4 concerts per year consisting of:  a fall informance in late October, a holiday concert in December, MSBOA District Festival in March, and a spring concert in May.  Students in this group are also eligible to participate in MSBOA Solo/Ensemble festival held in May.  Students must have successfully completed a year in the Concert Band or have directors permission to participate.

The Concert Winds have shown their commitment to higher musical performance by receiving a I division rating at MSBOA District festival in 2005.  This made them eligible to participate in MSBOA State Band and Orchestra Festival.
